Behold... the Frango! You really need to understand the true nature of Frangos. These are a historic American brand and story that is almost a century old! There is even a book written about the history of Frangos going way back to 1918.

After some research about the Frangos, they are made with a very high concentrate of butter fats. This changes the character of the chocolate into a much more smoother and decedent texture and taste.

The formula is almost 100 years old so keep that in mind. The chocolate industry has changed A LOT in the last century. People's taste buds have changed. But when I eat these it reminds me of great grandmother's amazing handmade truffles but with a Mint kick. Its not a factory taste like today's modern chocolates. A very traditional flavor.
